Purpose:
Our organization is committed to lawful, ethical behavior. Employees, board members, volunteers, and contractors are encouraged to report concerns about suspected misconduct without fear of retaliation.
Reporting:
Anyone who becomes aware of illegal activity, financial wrongdoing, fraud, harassment, safety issues, or other unethical conduct should report it to the Executive Director or any Board Officer. If the concern involves the Executive Director, the report should go directly to the Board Chair.
Protection from Retaliation:
No one who makes a good-faith report will face retaliation, discipline, or adverse employment action. Anyone who retaliates against a whistleblower may face disciplinary action.
Confidentiality:
Reports will be handled as confidentially as possible. Information will be shared only when necessary to investigate and address the concern.
Investigation:
The Board or Executive Director will promptly review all reports, ensure fair evaluation, and take appropriate corrective action if needed.
